Steve Bonnell

Steve Bonnell has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate sales, leasing and ground up development planning and pre-leasing. He has worked with notable tenants such as Lowe’s, Petsmart, Safeway, Fry’s Grocery, Basha’s, Target, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, McDonalds, Burger King and Sonic to name a few. His relationships with Landlord clients include DMB Associates Inc, Evergreen Development, WM Grace Companies, Kitchell, Vestar, Pederson & Donahue Schriber. Steve graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Business and is originally from Iowa. Steve has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for over 25 years and has served on the local committee for the SW Idea Exchange. Steve has served as Chairman of the ICSC Deal Making Committee and was appointed and served two terms on the Community Development Advisory Committee by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.

Lizette Borbon-Iskhakova

Lizette Borbon-Iskhakova is a member of De Rito Partners, Inc outstanding Hispanic Retail Leasing Team covering the State of Arizona. Raised in Nogales, Sonora Mexico, Lizette has an unparalleled understanding of the culture and language which provides her with a well developed ability and keen insight to target and successfully unite landlords with tenants of different cultures and backgrounds. During her first year with De Rito Partners, she was awarded Rookie of the Year. Lizette was recognized as one of the top producers for the Company. She is a member of the international council of shopping centers (ICSC). Lizette has established her tenant based clients into new markets such as Albuquerque, NM and Texas. Her dedication and ability to take her clients from concept to store opening, continues to set her apart and makes her a valuable asset to clients. Along with her long standing relationships in California, Texas, New Mexico, the state of Sonora, Guadalajara, Jalisco and Mexico City. Lizette has a strong cooperative relationship with Mexico and Latin America through advocacy, trade, networking and information. In partnerships and information sharing where Arizona and the U.S. economy benefit from enhanced bi-national open relationships with public and private sectors.

Morey Fischel

Since 1986, Morey Fischel has been a Retail and Restaurant representation specialist. With dedication, passion and commitment, he provides his clients with unparalleled service and superior results. Whether it is one location or a company roll-out, Morey seamlessly helps clients execute their growth plans and maximize sales potential by securing the best possible sites and negotiating the most advantageous deal terms. He has represented Panda Express in over 80 transactions, Arby’s, Jamba Juice, Pizza Hut, and the Palm Restaurant. Morey has built lasting relationships with retail real estate owners and developers, as well as with countless highly regarded retailers and restaurants in markets throughout Arizona. Morey has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Arizona State University and has been licensed in Real Estate since 1982. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Michael Franks

Michael Franks specializes in the leasing and sales of retail properties and shopping centers and brings more than 38 years of experience to the company. In his career he has leased and sold well over $500 million dollars of commercial retail property.

Prior to joining De Rito Partners, Michael worked with national brokerage firms such as CBRE, Marcus and Millichap, and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate. As senior agent, he has concentrated on representing many successful retail users including QuikTrip Gas Stations, SAS Shoes, Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, Miracle Ear and Aamco Automotive Services. Before working at Coldwell Banker, Michael was also an associate agent for Marcus and Millichap Commercial Investment Advisors specializing in the sale of investment grade shopping centers and office buildings. Subsequent to his work on investment brokerage, Michael had gained valuable leasing experience as the Vice-President and Director of Marketing for the Pederson Group, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout his long career Michael has worked in real estate development, investment sales, and the leasing and sales of numerous retail shopping centers and commercial retail property.

Michael has a BS in Marketing from the University of Arizona, is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and currently serves on the Board of Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Arizona.

Carl Jones Jr.

Carl Jones, Jr. has 19+ years’ experience; 10 years specifically in Arizona commercial real estate involved in the sales and leasing of commercial retail, office, industrial and land properties. Carl comes to De Rito Partners from Sandor Development Company where he handled assets in Virginia, Illinois, Oregon and Arizona. He is a Certified Relocation Professional, a Global Mobility Specialist and attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale majoring in Dietetics. He proudly served in the Illinois Army Reserves and Illinois Army National Guard. Carl has been actively involved in the community through such organizations as Phoenix City Council District 8 Economic Development Committee, Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Arizona Guide Right Foundation, Arizona Cactus Pine Girl Scout Troop 436, Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) as a High School Basketball Official to name a few. Carl is also a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The National Retail Brokers Network (RBN).

Michael McWilliams

Since 1984, Michael McWilliams has been a licensed Real Estate professional in Arizona. Mike has a background in both brokerage and development. His brokerage experience includes tenant and landlord representation, site acquisition, leasing, pad sales, build to suits, ground leases, and investment sales including the analysis and preparation of investment offerings. He continues to enjoy an excellent working relationship with many of the real estate professionals in our marketplace. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Bruce Milton

Since 1979 Bruce has been active in providing commercial real estate services in Arizona. He is a retail real estate specialist with proven success in retail leasing, mixed use projects, investment sales, commercial leasing, development services and lender dispositions. Bruce has years of transactional experience with local, regional and national clients and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Bruce is a native Arizonan, attended the University of Arizona and has taught industry classes at the Arizona School of Real Estate in Scottsdale, Arizona. His leadership and emphasis in striving to always meet the client’s goals has resulted in long lasting relationships in the commercial real estate arena with clients, customer and brokers. Through his lengthy experience and superior industry knowledge, Bruce enhances the outcome of each real estate transaction he participates in.

Jeff Schonberger

Jeff Schonberger is an experienced commercial real estate agent with 34 years of proven success in identifying markets and locations to purchase or lease for franchise, retail anchors, and commercial operations. Jeff is recognized in the commercial real estate industry for his ability to aggressively penetrate markets through careful analysis of existing market conditions, area demographics and his clients’ needs. He has overseen several projects from initiation to successful conclusion through liaison with clients, architects, legal representatives and governmental entities. Jeff is a skilled negotiator with the ability to create win-win situations for all parties.

During his years of experience in the real estate industry, Mr. Schonberger has worked with several prominent real estate firms in Arizona and has represented numerous national retail tenants and landlords throughout the Western United States such as Chase, McDonald’s; Native New Yorker; Jack in the Box and KFC. 

Jeff has built lasting relationships within the retail real estate community and his abilities, level of experience, deal making capability, leadership ability and work ethic make him a valuable member of De Rito Partners’ brokerage team. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Paul Serafin

Paul Serafin was the #1 producer in gross revenue for De Rito Partners, Inc. in 2013 and has been in the top three producers for four years in a row. Paul is a retail specialist focused on restaurants, re-leasing big boxes, new development (anchors and pads), land sales and shop leasing in metropolitan Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott. In ten years, he has completed more than 500 lease transactions totaling over 2 million square feet and has finalized over $240 million in transactions from land and building sales. He currently represents Dunn Edwards, Century Link and multiple restaurants including TGI Fridays, Hooter’s, Blue Wasabi, Coyote Ugly, The Old Spaghetti Factory, Nando’s, and Del Taco. He has represented owners and developers such as Kimco Realty, Cole Companies, Hines Companies, WM Grace, Glimcher and Inland. Paul’s current listings include re-tenanting/selling multiple former grocery stores, restaurants and leasing nearly 150 acres of new ground-up and redevelopment retail projects including Mesa Riverview, Chandler Pavilions and The Pavilions at Talking Stick. In addition to new/ground up developments, Paul specializes in pad development and pad building redevelopment projects.
