As President and Managing Principal of De Rito Partners, Inc., Donald L. Sheckell oversees the day-to-day operations of Arizona's largest retail real estate brokerage firm. Prior to joining De Rito Partners, Inc., Don served as Designated Broker of Retail Brokers, Inc. (RBI), a Scottsdale-based brokerage firm specializing in retail leasing, tenant representation, investment sales and land acquisition, where he managed more than 40 agents and support staff. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Trammell Crow Company in McLean, Virginia and Phoenix, Arizona, where he handled project leasing for major institutional owners. Don began his commercial real estate career in Washington, DC, as an Associate with Insignia/ESG, Inc. providing landlord and tenant representation services. He earned his bachelor's degree from UC Davis and his master's degree from Georgetown University. Don sits on the board of Kivel Campus of Care and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Judi Butterworth is a Principal with DeRito Partners, Inc. She has been selling and leasing retail projects for 30 years. Judi has handled over $400 million in transactions, and is considered one of the top brokers in the State of Arizona. Judi specializes in selling commercially zoned land and investments. She also works with major tenants on new projects and existing available big boxes. She frequently consults with owners and offers solutions to development challenges on properties. Judi is a former State Director for the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a frequent industry lecturer. During her years in Phoenix, she has been active in numerous civic and charities boards and commissions. In 2006, Judi was a finalist for the prestigious Athena Award sponsored by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.
Andy Kroot, a principal at De Rito Partners, Inc., has over 23 years of commercial real estate experience. He has specialized in the sale and lease of retail projects, land sales, tenant representation and development. Andy's Exclusive Tenant Accounts include: 24 Hour Fitness, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Wells Fargo, Shoe Pavilion, Danny’s Family Car Wash, Buca di Beppo, Taco Bell/KFC. He is a member, International Council of Shopping Centers and a Campaign Cabinet Member of the Phoenix Children’s Museum.
Marty Olejarczyk (Marty O.) has been involved in the development, leasing, sales, and management of shopping centers in Arizona since 1984. During this time, his area of expertise has evolved into coordinating the execution of all types of shop space, anchor tenant, and pad leases and sales. Due to his knowledge of the marketplace and his ability to negotiate, Marty O. has also added to his repertoire an impressive list of national, regional, and local tenants he exclusively represents. Brian Banks is a retail specialist with De Rito Partners, Inc., bringing a unique set of talents and experience to the team. Previously, he worked as a residential realtor for Phoenician Properties, where he sold various homes across the Valley by writing, presenting and negotiating each of his clients' contracts. Currently he specializes in landlord and tenant representation for retail and mixed-use developments. He understands the importance of location and economics in negotiating retail transactions throughout the Phoenix metro area. Brian's success includes closing deals that have been financially sound for both tenant and landlord. His experience as a retail specialist includes pre-leasing of new developments and leasing of existing shopping centers. He holds a bachelor's degree in real estate from Arizona State University, and is an active member of both the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce.
A fourth generation Arizona native, Bill Bones specializes in tenant and landlord representation, land sales, and pre-leasing and leasing of new developments in Arizona. Bill's tenant representation experience includes all aspects of site selection, strategic planning, and retail development. Andy Cooper focuses on the representation of Retail Tenants and Exclusive Representation of Landlords in the leasing and sale of retail properties. With a commitment to providing outstanding client service and superior results, he currently represents over one million SF of retail including Mesa Riverview, Surprise Pointe and Gilbert Tuscany Village. Andy has lived in Arizona since he was 4 years old and is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Jim Edwards is a retail leasing specialist with six years of real estate construction and development experience in Arizona. Prior to joining De Rito Partners, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Pinnacle Commercial Ventures, LLC for three years where he coordinated plans and permits, estimated construction costs, and managed all construction activities, loans and draw requests. He has worked diligently with developers and landlords to achieve their goals and objectives through his highly responsive and proactive marketing strategies, solid retail tenant relationships, and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the complexities of real estate transactions. Jim graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Real Estate in 2000. He is an active member of ICSC.
