New name and logo adds to the Talking Stick brand as an entertainment destination
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY - The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRP-MIC) announced today that De Rito Partners Development, Inc., is changing the name of Scottsdale Pavilions to The Pavilions at Talking Stick.

The idea of guests chilling at a Holiday Inn in Maricopa moved forward at the Feb. 1 city council meeting, with the council approving the site plan for a 43,500 square-foot, three-story hotel building and three other commercial buildings.

Last summer, Moirbia Scottsdale LLC signed a lease to occupy more than half of a vacant building on the western side of Scottsdale Road just south of Second Street and next door to Salty Señorita. It planned to open Maggie Fox's Public House early this year, but the project has been delayed for several months because of city permit issues.
